As far back as in 16th -17th century, Greek philosopher Socrates said: "Know thyself." What did he mean by that? Perhaps it is that without knowing who we really are on the deepest level, we are just a passenger on the back seat of the vehicle called life? It is said that we have been created in the image of our creator. And this means that we have the power to create our life. But how can we create a meaningful life for someone we don't know? This was the question that brought me to Leela a few years ago.
Seven years ago, at 30 y.o. I found myself so lost, confused and suffering. Completely enmeshed in a codependent relationship. Unable to stand up for myself. Tormented by fears and anxieties, and completely disconnected from my authentic self. In fact, I had no idea who I was at all. That's when I realized that I needed to go out there in the world and find the answer to this question. At that time, I clearly did not understand what it would take for me to do that, but the decision was taken, the step was made, and there was no going back. So I set out on a journey.
The suffering in me was feeding my hunger for knowledge of self. I dived into psychology, philosophy and different spiritual teachings. I sat down with psychedelic substances with an intention to look above and beyond. To find my voice, to find my truth, I sat down in silence for 10 days, learning meditation and Buddhist teachings. I searched, and I searched, and I searched... and while I seemed to find snippets of clarity here and there, I still felt stuck. Stuck in the mental prison of my own conditioning. Until a few years ago, Leela knocked on my door.
I hesitated to play at first. I was telling myself all kinds of stories about why I couldn't play Leela. Stories like: "It's a board game?" "How can a board game fix my problems?" "I can't spend money on a game right now." "There's no guarantee it will help me." "I'll play when I feel more secure with my money." Yet the perfect time never came. Leela kept coming back to me through different people, but I kept telling myself: "it is not the time." Meanwhile, my whole world was reflecting my inner hell back to me, and it's not until I got so depressed and desperate for change, I finally set down with The Game.
One year later, I look back at myself and barely recognize the person I was a year ago. The Game made me take a good hard look at myself and triggered a powerful inner shift. Which gave me the long waited breakthrough I was praying for so many years. I started to see, hear and understand myself better, which allowed me to start taking small steps in the direction of my inner truth. Today, I feel empowered, inspired and most alive that I have ever felt. My life is filled with love, joy and creativity, and it's all coming effortlessly from within me. That's why I chose to use this incredible tool to help others get out of the darkness and into the light!

Guidelines for the game
Hi friend, I always recommend a face to face game because of the quality of the attention that being in each other's presence bring. But if we're too far away from each other, an online game will do the trick.
Please prepare a notepad and a pen. You might also want to get a bottle of water because the game lasts for several hours.
